The Wellington Radio Club and Palm Beach County Emergency Operations Center volunteers are participating in Field Day, a national emergency communications exercise, beginning Saturday at 2 p.m. and running through 2 p.m. on Sunday at Village Park, Pavilion 3, 11700 Pierson Road. The program is designed to teach emergency operating skills to new ham radio operators and fine-tune those of experienced radio operators. The public is welcome.
