BY ERIC VANSICKLE -- The Rich Engel Classic was run Thursday, Sept. 15, at Birdsall Park in Cedar Falls, with the host Tigers winning the boys' varsity competition over Cedar Rapids Washington and Dubuque Senior. The girls' competition was taken by Cedar Rapids Kennedy, followed by Cedar Falls and Decorah. Winners of the individual races were a pair of Waverly-Shell Rock runners, Anna Holidman in the girls' race and Daniel Huff in the boys' run.
